Got my results back from my glucose test :/ was borderline but the doc is just going to consider me diabetic... Any other moms going threw this and can tell me how it is?? Will my son be diabetic?

That's good to know. diabetics run in my family. Although I did not have any problems with my last 2.... I just have this fear that I might have GD. I could be over thinking it tho. Good luck to you tho.

@kimmygarrett85, yes he did. Since I was borderline and don't really have it he's just taking the precaution and considering as I do. But my friend had it her whole pregnancy and after her baby came she was no longer GD.

same here I have to do my 3 hour test on Tuesday. I'm so petrified. I really don't want GD. I hope everyth I no works out for you ladies

I had to just take the 3 hr because I failed the 1 hr hopefully I passed it

My doc just put me in a 2000 calorie diet... No meds then I repeated and it was fine. My number was 140

I was borderline at the beginning and now I'm 32 weeks and he just considering me diabetic to be on the safe side

Its not always sweets, chips, rice, pastas those thing you have to eat small portions of.

Baby should be fine if you keep your blood sugars under control. Watch your carb intake. Your nutritionist should give you a meal plan for that. Cut out all soda if possible, that will allow you to eat more since soda is high in carbs. It's really all about figuring out what makes your blood sugar high and what doesn't. Exercise helps too.
