Existing and new security/privacy measures on Preggie:
.
1⃣ IN EFFECT:
.
🔸anyone can report an insulting comment or post to us instantly and/or blacklist the author
🔸To complain about/report a post, click the three dots in the header and choose "Complain"
🔸To complain about/report a comment, you can swipe the comment left, and choose "Complain" here
🔸You can blacklist a user in the same menu (with "Complain") in their profile and will never see their posts again, nor will they be able to write to you
.
2⃣ IN PROGRESS:
.
🔸Any user blacklisted by you is blocked from seeing any of your posts or profile – we expect to announce that within the next day or so
🔸Followers/subscribers will have to be approved by those they follow
🔸A private messenger is being introduced
🔸You will be able to select "trusted" followers who will be able to view your private posts to their group, in addition to the public ones visible to the entire community
🔸We will introduce instant "electronic signature" for pictures - each will bear an imprint of your user name
🔸We are terminating the sign-on using other networks, leaving only the private email option. New users will be required to provide more info about themselves, including an email. So will you. This will fulfill two objectives:
👉Everyone’s privacy (rigorous screening of new users + no risk of automatic publishing of private data)
👉Easy retrieval of lost passwords (we will email them to you)
.
Lastly, may we volunteer some advice? If you don’t like someone’s question and have an urge to comment in an unkind way – it will make no one’s day better (which is kind of the point of why we are here). Just ignore and save energy for those you can help.
.
Along with our previous invitation to be proactive – when you feel so irate that you absolutely need to curse or want a punching bag - write to us! We will happily take the punishment to spare other moms who need your kindness and understanding, just like you need theirs. That way it will hopefully be easier for all to concentrate on what really matters.
.

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
