I get mixed signals from mothers cause they say it's flu season not a good idea and I'm like well crap I don't wan to wait till one month @californiahaley

just make sure he a dressed according to weather and don't let people touch him as much as you want them to its probably safer not to. especially don't let them touch face or hands. they can put on hand sanitizer and touch the feet.

In general baby will be fine. Just don't let people touch him, keep him covered up. Ect. I had Tannon out at 5 days old because he had a doctor appointment and me and my mother in law went to lunch after.

I would just suggest to keep him in the car seat and not let people take him out and hold him.

I agree with @californiahaley keep him in the carseat or in a baby carrier. random people will try to touch him and you have to just stand your ground and tell them no, even your friends. lots of nasty sicknesses going around and you don't want your baby sick that young because it's dangerous

And bring a receiving blanket and put it over his carseat so people won't try to touch him. just be careful :)
