Anyone else have an "abnormal" Pap smear. Please share! I need my mind to be eased a bit.

it is very curable if it's caught early. it was really simple in and out appt to have it removed. will be keeping you in my thoughts and hope to hear good news @ninety

That's what I'm afraid I have. Is hpv. I read 98% of it is curable. @jadien2010

@ninety, they had to remove a spot to have it tested and they caught it early so they were able to remove all of it.

I did two years ago but it was cancer. What you have should go away on its own. Just stay healthy.

@jadien2010, they didn't say it was hpv. Do they tell you just by the Pap smear because she said nothing about hpv. Did my research on it too. Hpv is curable?

@szornek, right? Did you also have to get a biopsy too? Thank you so much! This means a lot you have no idea. You're informing me! Lol

I had that as well. but wasn't as scary as the c word. lol. it isn't as bad as it sounds and usually goes away on its own. trust in your health care team to help you make the best informed decisions ♡ praying for healing and peace for you ♡

@szornek, thank you so much! Made me feel a lot better. I got a call saying I have Low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (which isn't a risk. They go away on their own) but they are concerned I might have HIGH grade squamous intraepithelial lesion. I have no idea what it is. I've been doing research and doesn't seem to make sense to me. I'm glad you're fine though!

I had one in 2011. they said precancerous cells on my cervix. we decided to wait and do some praying and trust my body. and in 2012 when I went back for my 2nd follow up it was gone. do not worry yourself until you know for sure you have a reason. ♡
