I did just make sure you take your iron pills faithfully and you should be fine. I was super nervous while giving birth but everything turned out great I ended up not needing a transfusion.

also eat plenty of foods that contain iron. my mom had this problem and since she didn't want to take the iron pills she boiled beats and drank the water and ate the actual beat.

@novastar at first I was told cereal would help but it didn't so now I'm on 3 pills a day

hoping the pills help! and still try to eat ironfull foods to help a bit more.
