does anyone else have O negative blood type and have to get a shot at 28 weeks...my doc said my blood type might try to fight against the baby and that my body could reject The baby but then says oh its nothing to worry about we just gonna wait another 4 weeks n give you this shot n everything will b OK..... wtf doc y scare me

I've had mine, its just like any other shot. no big deal:) it normally doesn't affect the firs baby you have
Google RH negative blood for expectant moms. it'll help explain it.
its very common so don't worry. you just have to get the rhogam shot to keep your body from producing antibodies against the baby. I have several friends who have had it.
I have a friend who has to get those. she has 2 little girls. sorry your doc scared you, thats all you need.
