We take the privacy and social health issues of Preggie community VERY SERIOUSLY. To defend these, we are in the process of implementing a strict security framework which will allow to prevent or punish the following behavior going forward:

1. Posting someone else's pictures as their own or generally without the express permission of the author.

This app is by design THE PLACE to show motherhood-related photos to those who really care and appreciate and expect reciprocity - your fellow moms. We are adding specific security features (that will be communicated in due course) that prevent photos from being being stolen and misused - we will allow reposting later, pending explicit permissions of the authors of the original uploads. We pledge that there will be a total discretional privacy for your picture uploads on this app - no one will be able to use your photos without your express permission and you will be able to control who can see them in the first place. AT ALL TIMES. Should any "identity thieves" emerge in the meantime, they will be dealt with swiftly, including possible legal action.

2. Insults, threats to other members of the community and generally hostile behavior.

We are all emotional during pregnancy and early motherhood - most moms realize that and are patient with their fellow moms who may not be having the best day. That is all it takes. That said... We will monitor the posts and complaints section very carefully. ZERO TOLERANCE WILL ALWAYS BE APPLIED TO ALL INTENTIONALLY INSULTING, RUDE OR DISRESPECTFUL CONDUCT (including personal attacks with vulgar language or racist comments) - noticed or reported abusers will be sanctioned, up to eventual expulsion from the app, if the abusive behavior does not stop.

We commit everything to make this the most useful and welcoming/positive community for all expecting and new moms. However, our ultimate success is guaranteed only with your help and support

Dear all - thanks. @mrssabby, @dawn: Past wrongdoers have been banned. The future ones will be - as soon as we notice or you report them. Remember, our efforts work best if everyone, whose interests we protect, helps. Pls start with own blacklist and reporting the perpetrators immediately. Preventive measures / total control over own photos will come through in the next versions of the app within weeks. Also to consider: a) when more than one individual start doing weird things on the network it is more often a consequence of another network's actions in our experience, rather than any "strange" individual; b) reposting of screenshots of someone's pictures without consent (for instance) is a common issue on other reputable networks (like IG). It is our kids that we talk about here - hence, every effort will be applied to prevention.

I'm just wondering how long this will take, I've been in this app for awhile and am due any day with my baby and am really skeptical about posting any more pics, due to the stalkers and men and fake profiles, which is so unfair to all of my ️mommy friends, so what's the timeline?
