How do you tell your MIL that you do not want her in the delivery room ...at all ?! I don't want to…

Psh dude, i dont really like my MIL either! we have fought 4 times in the past and she drives me crazy... just be like " im sorry but i like my privacy"

@sinabear, what really bothers me is that she didn't even ASK if she could be in the room just assumed that she would be and she keeps talking about how it's going to be great seeing her first grandchild be born and I was like well I Uhm only want my mom, grandma, and my SO & that's it no one else and she's like oh well when the time comes you'll change your mind

I get along with mine and she deff isn't going to be in there .. I'm going to let my mom and grandma and husband in there but when it is time to spread them leg only my husband is staying in there ..

@hayleymarie, lol I honestly feel like it's not going to get through to her until the day I'm delivering and I look at her and say "get the f** out" I've been trying to be nice about it but she just doesn't get it and my SO doesn't want to get involved so he keeps telling me to just let her find out the hard way

just say you want your and delivery to be as least stressful as you can and that you only want your mom & SO there for your supoort. I told my boyfriends mom I didn't even want her at the hospital. I didn't want anyone there till after my 1st baby was born and I only let people stay for 15-20 mins to visit after. it's a very important day for YOU and your significant other and your baby. yeah, everyone else is going to be excited but you need to bond and get breastfeeding down and whatnot and that's hard to do when you have too many people there.

Idk where you live but where I live you can only have 3 people in the room at max during vaginal delivery. maybe there's no room for your MIL lol??

Thanks for the tips hopefully I can get it through to her before the big day considering it's only a few weeks away and it hasn't worked up till this point
