Does anybody besides me NOT believe that lotion prevents stretch marks? A lot of people swear by it but I really believe some people just get them others don't... I use lotion daily but because I have very dry skin . I am.fortunate to not have stretch marks but I really don't think it's the lotion!! what you guys think?

Nothing has been proven to prevent stretch marks. Of course moisture helps, but stretch marks are genetic.

😂😂 I do my shoulders because the lotion smells nice and I know my man will smell it when we cuddle 😂😂 luckily my skin doesn't itch so I'm good. It's winter my body is always covered anyway so I do the bare minimum. 😂😂

I think its more of how fast u gain weight... My previous baby i gained weight slowly ate right walked everyday til i popped ... No stretch marks... Jus left my dr last week n was told im over my weight limit already... This time i work but i eat ALOT of mcdonalds taco bell sonics really anything fast food... N only 34 weeks n ive reached my weight limit n couple days ago discovered 3 stretch marks... So it cant be lotion cuz i never used it the first time but used it this time n got em.. It gotta be how quickly u gain weight.. Skin stretches too far u get marks

Lots of moisture helps prevent stretch marks but it hasn't to be the right moisture

staying hydrated, gaining weight properly, and taking vitamins can help. it's mainly genetics though

I only have 2 and I honestly believe it's in your genes.. but I also think scratching makes them waaaay worse.

@aicnov14 I heard about that.. It can be genetics!!! but I agree I think some lotions will help lighten it but not keep them away

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
