So my son LOVES his swing and that's the only thing that will put him to sleep (other than me rocking him) but he likes laying flat down...Do thy make swings that lay flat or close to it? his is at a bit of an angle and it's starting to bother him.
so how exactly do drs not expect a baby who can't really hold his head up to not be in a swing or bouncer or laying on his back, or expect them to not get a flat head?? opinions..
I'm back home from the hospital. It was a really long and hard weekend.I had my sweet baby boy. These are some of his things they gave him. That's the little hat they put on him and the little blanket they wrapped him up in. They also gave us the bear and keepsake box for his things.
In need of advice... Leon will only sleep in my arms or on my chest and cries unconsoleably when I try to move him. Lately, he has been allowing me to lay him on our bed, directly next to me, to sleep. Occasionally, I can get him to sleep in his swing for a few hours. He refuses, however, to be in his bouncer or bassinet for any longer than 15 minutes at a time. I have tried swaddling him, laying him on his side, using a pacifier, playing music, singing to him, turning on vibrations, keeping a nightlight on, placing my hand on him, patting his backside, and running a warm mist humidifier but nothing seems to soothe him. I am trying to find a way to break him of this because I know it isn't safe and I've gotten very little sleep over the last 5 weeks, since he was born. Any advice would be welcomed and appreciated! Thank you in advance!
So Connor is almost 5 months old and he has a flat spot on his head, he sleeps on his back but I put him a one of those things were it like keeps him on his back so he doesn't roll. I have him sleeping in a pack and play, would it be safe to let him sleep on his tummy or not yet? I just don't want his head to end up being super flat.
mommies , what do you guys suggest about putting a pillow under a 3 week old baby? my sister bought me a boppy for the baby. it's really small. literally like a little bigger than my baby's head. what do you guys think? is it ok to have my baby lay on it so he's not laying flat down? only because he's been throwing up and they suggested for him not to lay flat... last night we had him sleeping on a bouncer type of thing, we had it on the bed so he wouldn't be on the floor.. but doesn't seem like he's liking the idea of sleeping on it today. so i'm having him sleep on his bassinet but i put that boppy underneath his head...

yes..the one I have is adjustable... it sits all the way up -& leans all the way back as well

idk if you having a boy or girl...I'm sure they have many more out there.. you just have to read box. I honeslt didn't realize it adjust until we put it together
