its to help the baby lungs grow faster i had it with my daughter she was born at 34 weeks ... but the drs office just called randomly to tell me to come in so i go in at 130 im very nervous to what changed so fast...

they normally don't give you those unless you're at risk for early delivery, steroids aren't good for the baby..
