Has anyone had to be induced w the pill behind their cervix before pitocin was started ? I'm being induced Thursday and my cervix is posterior still so Dr said he would start out w cytotec ? if so what was the outcome ? how long was you labor ? did u dilate fast ? I'm really nervous

I had actually did alot of research on it but never seen any of that ! thank you ! . now I'm even more nervous about my induction I have to be induced due to my gestational diabetes my placenta is aging fast and baby is getting to big so now I don't kno what to do ?

I think I read somewhere that cytotec isn't safe, even the FDA says not to take it while pregnant. hospitals use it anyway to help induce because its cheaper.... research!
