Anyone know anything about a toddler who's tonsils are swollen everyday all day and she has gotten strep throat 3 times in less than 5 months? I'm almost 31 weeks pregnant and my OBgyn said to make sure we don't share drinks and stuff since I'm high risk. either way I'm taking my daughter back to her pediatrician tomorrow morning.

My cousin had those issues. She recently had to have them removed.

@ashleyrdz, thank you! I hope something gets straightened out soon too. I'll be taking her back to the doctor again tomorrow but if they still don't change their minds I'm taking her to an ear nose and throat doctor. I just don't think that at 2 she should be dealing with these problems

hers are very swollen a pencil wouldn't fit between them that's for sure. she's only 2 so the thought of getting her tonsils removed isn't even an option I guess? they say some kids out grow it but it's concerning to me. she is snoring every night and even has sleep apnea or something similar. it's almost like she holds her breath while sleeping then she wakes up screaming with her little heart pounding. @ashleyrdz
