I have a question about breast feeding. I tried it with my first daughter and I couldn't do it. it hurt more than anything and I felt that she wasn't getting anything. with this pregnancy I want to try it again but I just want to pump the breast milk and do it that way. do you ladies think that's ok. I know that when you give birth and you plan to breast feed they really want that baby on your nipple asap....I just felt so uncomfortable doing that and its so awkward to me especially when you have guest and she needs to eat....I'm not sure if that's just me. help me ladies lol enlighten me on anything I need to know about breast feeding

I don't see what it'd hurt to do that. I wanna pump then put it in bottles. I feel like that'd be a lot easier. Especially since I'll have a 15 month old running around too

exactly I feel like pumping and having it ahead of time will save time and definitely money.

I wasn't able to breastfeed with my first either. So, I think I might as my dr to see if it okay to start pumping at like 38 weeks. It will definitely save money. That's definitely what we need to do right now

@courtney_boyea, long as you do skin to skin contact to help with the production of milk, pumping should be just fine. my best friend breastfeed with nipple but my other friend just pump and feed.
