I'm going all natural no meds. breath work and staying calm. relax your face and breathe. mental imagery. I've been taking Bradley method birth classes so I've learned a lot. You can do it. You just have to trust your body and have no fear. fear is what will get you. believe you can and you can. I'm scared as he'll but I know I can do it.
it wasnt bad at first i mean it hurt but it was tollerable....then it got worse so i asked for something for the pain...not the epidural...i forgot what it was called....then shortly after bam it hit hard and it hurt bad...i couldnt take it. but anyone who goes natural is strong as hell cause those contractions are no joke....when i had to push my epidural was gone and so i felt all the pressure and everything at the end....i hope you can do it too girl. but you know what you can take.

i had my baby 10 days ago...i got the epidural...for me it didnt work too well and the right side of my back KILLS if i walk around too long....its starting to not be as bad...i wish i could have taken all the pain and gone natural. it hurt pretty bad though. i couldnt do it. lol

Once you get the epidural it can start complications and other additional interventions that can harm the baby as well as you. You should do a lot of research. Watch The business of being born and Pregnant in America. Those will help you decide and be more comfortable in deciding to do it without drugs.
It scared me to. I'd rather have pain then risk them fucking it up and like paralyzing me
@rubyh310, I was just meaning I don't think you should feel pressure one way or the other. You do what YOU want to do. It doesn't matter what anyone else did
I definitely want to go natural the epidural freaks me out!! If I need pain killer of some kind id rather use the gas! It scares me having them poke something so close to my spine though...

@mom2be96, yeah 9.2lbs head measured 4.5 weeks ahead. I'm 5'3", and average 115lbs. I'm not that big. Tan is now half my length at 6 months.
I am going to go as long as possible this time without an epidural. (:

@rubyh310, just cause your family didn't doesn't mean you shouldn't if you feel you need it. My sister did, my sister in law wants a c section, an she got an epidural with her first. My mom had 2 c sections. I'm actually one of the only ones in my family that went all natural. What works for everyone else may not work for you. Just go with your gut. If you think you need one do it.
Well I had really bad back pain about a week ago from her pushing her head on my back and I was praying I was in labor so I could ask for an epidural. But it wasn't and i just had to wait for it to fade
I'm getting it ... If u want it get it .. Don't let anyone make u feel bad about getting it
I am!! I'm a baby when I comes to pain. But I will try to hold out and see if I can handle without #2weeks2days
