I was told to hold my stomach when throwing up...why is that?

Hold under the stomach. It makes it so you're not straining your tummy ❤️

when I am throwing up I can't think or do anything. Just kill me now lol

hmmm idk when you throw up you use your stomach muscles so idk how you could hold them that's odd.
