I'm not sure..that's why I asked if anyone's baby has had it. I'm scared that he might. :( I took the best of care of his umbilical cord I just..idk. He has a little stump still inside his belly button but it's went down,but it's not red. In all the pictures I've seen the stump has been red,his is just his normal skin color. But it's still kinda oozing. Idk if that's normal. Or how an umbilical cord is supposed to heal after its fallen off. I'm only 17 for crying out loud!😫 @meplusmytwo
Okay first calm down @mathia315 even if u took great care of it the baby can still get it it's just somethin that happens so it wasn't your fault okay. Keep the area as clean as u can and call his dr first thing in the morning for a sick child appointment (they'll see him faster that way) because u can't really treat it at home but it's good you caught it early
Like a bulge outta his belly button he's 2 and still has it but they have surgery to fix and he is the happiest little boy ever so it's not something that effects him
