Is there anything I can give my one month old for a fever? :(

Oh and the children's Tylenol you can give BUT you need to ask your dr how much. The label only has amounts for ages 2+ or like 40 lbs I think. But I give it too my son for his shots and I've done that since 2 months. My pedi said it's fine but I called him for a dose amount. He went off weight

100.4 is considered fever in a baby. 104 can cause seizures.

Also at this age rectal temp is more accurate then oral or under the arm pit. So if you call dr in the morning they will want you to check the temp rectally and go from there.

It's only considered a fever at 104. Babies bodies don't keep a constant temp like ours. If it's 104 or more you need to take him to see the doctor. If it's less then 104 and not followed by any other symptoms then he's fine.

I'm not sure with babies that young. they usually want to see them right away for fever. does your doctor have an emergency number.
