I may sound like the dumbest person ever but.... What are contractions, and Braxton Hicks, even supposed to feel like? I've done some research, but none of it is remotely helpful.

bh are just uncomfortable. contractions feel like cramps that continue getting worse, in my experience, but I know everyone is different
I know what it means, but what does it feel like? I already have a med condition that causes a bunch of abdominal pain occasionally so I wonder if it'll be more painful than that or not.
idk what contractions feel like yet but braxton feels like a sudden tightening in your stomach && it gets super hard on both sides of your stomach.. then your stomach will go back to normal
contractions mean labor is coming.. supposed to be painful.. braxton hicks are false contractions but they don't really hurt... just uncomfy but they are preparing your body for labor
BH hasn't been terrible for me, I can totally feel them coming.
