I want to name my son after my brother Ricardo who passed away last January. it is also the name of our dad, who was only in my life for about 4 yrs. And my husband doesn't like the name because he knew a man named Ricardo who stold money from his mom. Lame reason, but still unsure of what to do! 😥

thanks @sexii_diiva and @meganc mY husband has been so difficut. he didn't name our first born because we weren't together and he didn't believe it was his. but I don't want to name our second after him.
Do what your comfortable with that is an amAzing reason for yu, and not for your husband. My sons name is after my brother who passed away. He is getting my boyfriends middle and last name but the first was very important to me and my boyfriend knows many other Josh's
maybe have Ricardo as a middle name instead or something similar to compromise
Yeah girl especially after him not thinking it was his and stuff, it's difficult all the way around but I would reassure him how important it is to you and that he can choose the middle name or so.
