I was wondering the same... there are probably ways around it tho... cuz everyone doesn't have a car either!

my hospital. has some on standby just in case .... but I'm delivering at a Naval hospital

I got one for free from medicaid ☺ and my mil got me one so now I have two

most hospitals sell car seats for cheap to low income families.... there are all kinds of programs for ppl that can't afford things for their baby

In some towns there are classes that you take for free and at the end you get a car seat. If you don't have a car you'd still need a car seat unless you weren't going home in a car. Idk what the law is for taking a city bus or something like that. If baby is riding in a car and not in a car seat at any age in which a car seat is required you can be charged with child neglect, endangering the welfare of a child, ect.

Yea I was wondering I mean not all mommies coyld either A afford one or B they don't own a vehicle and live within walking distance or by a bus. or C they don't care. like I was wondering like what about the mommies who say they didn't know they were pregnant. ?

Sorry I was creeping lol but if you don't have one I was told they keep your baby forreal but maybe its different in other states.
