@kaity0117, I have 2 other kids I didn't drink with them why on earth would I start now? I did ALL of the above as well but for my child I stopped as soon as the test came positive. I'm not as dumb as I look I have some type of common sense.

Sorry I must has misread, I am so tired and I still have a few hours to go! I smoked weed before I was pregnant and drank occasionally but I stopped everything even if it made me worse mentally. There just isn't enough information to know how much is too much. @january10th

I think people get upset about it because FAS is a completely preventable thing and there is now way of knowing how much you have to drink for it to affect your child. I have cousins with fetal alcohol syndrome and so I am someone who feels strongly about this topic. But if you feel it's a risk worth taking... That's your decision. Meet a child with FAS and your mind may change. It's not hard to go nine months without drinking... I am not trying to offend anyone It's just a risk I don't see worth taking. And every child deserves protection.
