call the 1800 # and they can give you the correct number and send you a new card

Go to your access acc. You can print out a temporary card!

@mommybump3, I have called the number, I had to announce my baby being born to them...I did that today.

@mrynbruton, why would I need a temp. card when I have the actual hard card they send you? Its the same number as on the temp one, on the hard one.

You need the pin # of your Medicaid card if the card # doesn't wrong.

oh idk than sorry. i know here in texas the baby uses my insurance number for i belive 3 weeks and than they get their own number

@iisavana, you just had the baby a couple days ago, right? All you have right now is just a Medicaid card on your name and other card name which babyofyourname...correct! The babyofyourname should be your baby card since in DCF file we don't have your baby name yet!! Now if (babyofyourname)Medicaid card doesn't work then you need to call the access customer service so they can give you the Medicaid pin# of your child. I work at DCF as a caseworker!
