Got my membrane sweep done today! Doc said 50% chance of it working and if it does we will know…

Did it hurt?? How dialated were you when they did it? I thought it can take 24 - 48 hrs....I get mine next week.

it was really uncomfortable and a little painful but my doc said usually if it's going to work it does within 8-10 hours after

also I was 1 cm and 75% effaced

@dani_8513 I was wondering what was taking so long lol. OK please keep me posted.... I am a bit nervous. I read that it can really hurt and my doc agreed. Although pain is temporary 😉 I sure hope it works!!

@olladysaidy, it did hurt quite a bit but in my opinion totally worth it because I am in a lot of pain from this pregnancy and I am ready to meet my son! :)

@dani_8513 I feel you 100%...that's another reason I'm requesting it too. I sure hope you get some relief soon.

Awe really, I asked for mine today and my doctor said she couldn't do it because the baby needed to be a bit lower :( ... Was your baby pretty low or did your doctor not ask?
