I wouldn't. It should be a choice for both boys and girls. I don't like guys with pieced ears anyway so maybe my opinion is invalid.

Yeah, I'm with @steph__x0x0 I like gauges on guys, but not just the ears pierced. and well, I wouldn't do it with either until they got old enough to make the decision, because Yes, it is my child, but what if she didn't want it done? Just because I want it done, doesn't mean she will when she's 7, and it'll have been a waste. @030815

I'd wait until he got to be a certain age, and then ask him if he wanted it done. I wouldn't just do it, nor would I with my girl.
