things I've learned since baby Astrid was born.....
yes you will bleed, but if you breastfeed or at least try even for a few days, you bleed less.
the pads are ridiculously huge, almost diaper size.
you pee yourself when you sneeze/cough/ect during pregnancy, its worse after.
once your bleeding stops, you "leak" pee.
take EVERYTHING from the hospital, all those mesh panties, pads, diapers, ect.....take it ALL. your paying for it. take it. whether u pay or ur insurance does. its covered and its yours.
even if you want to exclusively breastfeed or have the baby room in with you, if the nurses offer to take ur baby for a few hours so you can sleep, accept the offer, just remind them that if ur exclusively breastfeeding, to bring baby back if baby gets hungry.
diapers, and wipes, if you think you have enough and your prepared, get more. don't focus on one specific brand though, your baby could end up being allergic.
if your like me, no body I know has had a c section, I did and I'm a ftm, don't let anyone tell you that after 2-3 weeks you shouldn't be in pain, my baby is almost a month old and I'm in crippling pain.
if your a ftm, yes things will worry you, like ur babies poop being black tar, or turning into a slimy green with seed looking things, its normal. and if u had a girl, she can have leaky boobs, white discharge or small bloody spots in her diaper allll completely normal.
there's much more but maybe what I have learned can help expecting mothers....
have a great day mommas!!!!
