Ive been reading through a lot of posts and see that alot of people got their first ultra sound before 10 weeks. I am 14 weeks and dont have another appointment until January 23 where i will be 20 weeks. If anything, the most i would like to do is at least hear my babies heart beat. This is my first pregnancy and it is killing me not to be able to know anything besides what the internet tells me. Though, i am happy to say, i am 1 of 25% of women that has not had morning sickness. But, has anyone else had to wait until 20 weeks to at least hear their babies heart beat?
:'(
talk to your Dr about it it depends on ur Dr and ur insurance how many ultrasounds you get
Its very hard to wait. Not only so many worries, but also just the want to hear my baby.
I'm 9 weeks my doc said to wait till I'm 4 months for the first ultra sound. driving me crazy also
unfortunately, i dont have the extra funds, but seeing that its normal to only have one or two ultra sounds and it being later in the pregnancy helps. so, thank you @jadien2010
it just depends on dr. we had an ultrasound at 8 weeks and one wgen we found out gender and no more:( it's really hard waiting but if you have the extra funds you can buy a doppler for not to much and it'll ease your mind.
you should talk to you doctor about your concerns. They should've at least listened to the heartbeat.( my opinion)
Now im 14 weeks and so far dont know anything as far as what things are supposed to feel like or how fast my belly is supposed to be growing. @heavensmommy
i havent gotten to do anything except see how far along i was when i first found out and get pre natals. It is killing me not to get to know whats going on especially being the 6 weeks before i found out i was 6 weeks pregnant i was a welder. So all i can think about are the endless possibilities of health problems caused by the argon gas from my welder.
I made an appointment soon as I found out I was pregnant. I thought I was 6 weeks but I was 4 weeks along. my next appt I was 7 weeks...11...15...19 and so on and I heard heartbeat at every appointment
