I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.

So would it be considered desperate to put my baby registry on here? his family doesnt like me and wont even talk to me and my family really isnt even close at all. only ppl i have is my mom and little sis who is 13 and i dont want all the stress on my mom but my husband and i literally have 3 outfits 2 blankets and thats all... idk what else to do and i feel like a complete failure because i feel ill have nothing for my baby cause i cant even afford a carseat or diapers or anything he needs.....

My sister is coming down today to hang out with me and baby. She wanted to bring him some gifts. She got him an outfit, 2 toys, and a pair of shoes/booties. She said she wanted to get a little bit more and asked if there was anything else she could get as a gift for him and I said he can always use diapers. How long did it take for your newborn to grow out of newborn and size 1 diapers? Idk if I have enough from my baby shower I'm debating on buying more with the gift cards I received.
