So let me ask a question to you ladies...so here in Texas you have to drive a good hr or hr and a half just to get somewhere well I am picking up my step kids tomorrow for the Christmas break here's my thing it's 3 almost 4 hrs away I am almost 8 months pregnant and I am taking my 2 yr old and I have no cell service most of the way. and my husband sees no problem with this how woukd your hubby's feel? don't get me wrong he is a great man I love him but here lately he seems to not think about my well being because of himself or his kids I just think k he's being selfish am I wrong on this?

No, my fiance is extra paranoid about something happening to me (thank god) lol he wouldn't let me go alone. see if a friend or family member will go with you?

In a way he is being selfish because what if you going into early labor & you have no phone service to call any one. Or if you get a flat or something. I think you should see if a friend or family member can go with you. It's better to be safe than sorry.

My husband cancelled our thanksgiving vacation at his at his aunts beach house because it's an hour away from the nearest hospital, I was angry but realize he cares. I really don't think driving four hours with mostly no service is a good idea. Someone else should do it. You and your baby come first. Some men are not as aware of how hard and delicate pregnancy is.
