Well wit my daughter i walked the whole 9 months around town no matter how tired or swollen i got i still walked to stay active and the morning i went in labor the night before i took a really really hot bath got stuck in the tub😂😂😂😂n that mornin had sex n an hour later my contractions started ... Waited 2 hours went to the dr office n she sent me straight to labor and delivery.... Contracted all night n at 7 am they gave me pitocin to speed em up n i had her at 11:35am ... After 4 pushes... And i healed really fast too only bled for a week n after that i was fine..., not sure if bein active had anything to do wit it or not but hoping for the same magic this time😩✨🙌

yea u better go soon as it starts.... and I hit traffic I was yelling at my hubby to get in the construction zone lol he ran about 3 red lights telling me to keep my legs closed hahaha it was like a movie scene I swear ... u know how they be all calm then there water breaks and then they start screaming thats how it happened i only had like 3 painful contractions then my water broke and all hell broke loose lol @january10th jm

next baby Im going on that 1st contraction cuz I almost had my baby in the car I was only in the hospital no more the 20 min b4 she came I wasnt even done being registered lol @january10th

@babygirl10-11, damn I took me 5 minutes to get my second one out & almost 2 hours to get my first one out. @sexii_diiva yes just hope & pray

yea she came out to fast but once I dilate all my babies came fast 1st baby 29 mins 2nd 6min and 3rd 1min .... the last two came out too fast that they swallowed fluid and and were congested the 1st few days @january10th @sexii_diiva

@babygirl10-11 @january10th all we can do is hope && pray.. lol that's what we do the whole pregnancy anyway!! we hope the baby is okay.. we hope we don't have gestation diabetes.. we hope the baby comes out before due date. we hope labor is easy.. we hope baby has 10 fingers && 10 toes.. we hope baby doesn't have down syndrome or any other medical problems... so that's basically the whole pregnancy.. hoping && praying!!

@sexii_diiva, same thing my doctor told me she doesn't guarantee that its gonna do anything. I mean hopefully I have a fast labor like @babygirl10-11 this time lol. cause I can't do another 12 hour or so labor. I hope I get lucky. & hopefully I don't go over my due date

@january10th yea I remember you saying they always have to break your water. .... I have sex && haven't had a contraction because of it yet...but I did see sperm has something in it that makes you contract.... but a lot of those labor remedies can be risky too. they say talk to your Dr 1st. When I asked he said he doesn't recommend it. he said if you want you can walk or have sex. but how he said it was basically like just cuz you do it, doesn't guarantee anything.

yup girl I ain't never went over my due date I actually have never even made it to my due date but I've never taken anything to try to go in to labor, I have never tried the whole sex thing for starting labour or anything. but thats cause I never had anyone to have sex with lol both my kids fathers weren't in the picture so I did it alone but this time I have a fiance & when we have sex it definitely gets my contractions going but they don't last so I HIGHLY doubt it'll be the reason why I go into labor. it just really depends on the baby when ever they decide they wanna come out. & Yea I could barely walk with my second child to even get to the delivery room but by the time I got to the hospital I was already 6cm ready for them to break my water. with my first I tried the walking thing it didn't help me at all.

girl it was the most pain ive ever felt in my life I would rather do the 15 hrs with the epidural then those natural 3 lol @january10th im traumatized I dont even want baby 4 because this last labor lol

I don't like exercising before pregnancy && I damn sure don't wanna move a lot now.. so if its not proven then I'm not walking. @january10th but I just read something just now. && it did say once your labor starts walking helps you dialate faster. && when the contractions start walking helps them become stronger && more frequent because of gravity. but some women can't walk during labor because its to painful. but others can. which is basically what you said... so I just don't think I'm walking unless I start dilating.. even all those other remedies. I was reading some people swear by it like sex, primose oil, raspberry tea or whatever. they think it helps but its not proven. it may work for some but not others. you see on here all the time people doing all these remedies && still go past their due date. so why stress yourself. Seems like baby is gonna come when he/she wanna come

labor is unpredictable no matter if u walk everyday or if u got a gang of kids lol

and my sister walked everyday with her 1st baby and she was in labor for hella days to the point were they almost gave her a c section. .. so who's to say walking helps

@babygirl10-11, @sexii_diiva I guess it really does depend on the person. but I hear that the more babies the faster labour is. Yea I don't think it's proven yet either because i bet theirs a lot of moms out there that still go to the gym even & will have way harder labours but who knows

it doesn't help because when you're on labour at the hospital it hurts so bad at that point you can't even walk. walking gives you stamina which you'll need to get thru labour & delivery

I didnt walk at all during pregnancy first two lasted 15 hrs and this last one only lasted 2 or 3 hrs

oo I get what you saying.... but I think I was reading && some people say it's not proven yet.... just like some people walk && may luck out && have a few hours of labor. but the next person can still be in labor 3 days..

I could've been in labour for 24 hours 12 hours is not a long time to be in labour some people are in labour for 2 days. my mom was in labour with her first for 3 days

now I know if you're in labor sometimes they make you walk around the hospital.. so I'm sure it helps then but before labor idk.. I don't think it matters @january10th

@january10th how did you get thru it faster tho if both labors are approximately 12 hours?

My opinion walking helps make labour go by faster. I was in labour for 12 hours with my first & just about 12 with my second. I think walking definitely helped me get thru it faster. this time around I haven't walked nearly as much as I did with my other two so I'm sure I'll be feeling it. but you're right everyone's labour is different for sure
