Already mommies how many bottles is a good amount? I don't wash dishes. I am a dishwasher user && I don't want to use the dishwasher daily. So how many bottles should I start off with?
most newborns drink 2oz of milk so with the 4oz they can still use them for awhile and with the 9oz bottles those are basically for when they start eating more then 4oz in one feeding you will use them both
how many 4oz bottles did you get && how long do you use them vs 9oz @babyethansmommy
@babyethansmommy okay sounds like a plan.. 20 sounds good!
With my first son I had 20 bottles 10 large and 10 small I usually always clean so after every bottle I used I would clean it. but I also bought a bunch of those ready to feed similac bottles that lasted about a good 2 months I say go with 15-20 to start off with and then see how it goes from there I didn't use bottles much only at night because I also breast fed
Yeah with my first daughter I had bottles galore, and a dishwasher and sterilizer, girl with the second ughhh no, she had 6 small ones and 6big ones and 4 cereal it gets to be a headache especially if you plan on going back to work@sexii_diiva
@mrssabby I guess I'll just have to see for myself then.. thanks
Lol I like the playtex drop ins better and you don't have to get playtex liners I got playtex and target ones 100 target for 2 bucks where I live, they are easier, and I have 4 glass regular cereal bottles, I hate washing dishes and the more ya have the more you use and the more u clean, don't seem like it but it's true@alicia91 said it right, cause at 3am forget washing get a clean one, but it's your preference and the drop ins u only sterilize the nipples and tops and ring, full bottles you must sterilize all of the pieces, I'm breastfeeding so I have 6 6 oz and I will get big ones later the only reason I got them so if I have to go out they can pull milk from the freezer and feed baby and bay won't need to tag along, but it's up too you baby girl
Yeah it just depends on your household routine, whatever works best for you :D
@alicia91 I hear different reviews.. some say IT'S useless some say it's good. so I guess I'll read on it more
I understand, those bottle sterilizers I loved mine, it was easy to use and I only had 8 small bottles at first and I would just plug it in and it would clean my bottles fast and easy, I also formula fed :)
well I don't mind running dishwasher every other day. even if I HAVE to hand wash..every other day is okay. just not daily @alicia91
As many as you would like to wash is what I always say. Keep in mind that the more bottles you have, you will grab a new one each time but milk gets crusty and stuck on the bottles and the nipple when it gets dry :(
Uh if no liner I would do 20 they eat every 2-3 hours and it gotta be a new bottle. While new born.. risk of food poisoning is greater
@elliot.s I don't think I like the liners.. then you have to keep buying those.. I don't mind buying bottles but just trying to see what's a good amount. because at 1st I was gonna buy 30 but idk if I'm going overboard
If you get the bottles with a bottle liner it saves you in having to constantly wash the bottles. just the nipple you'll need
How many bottles of water are we suppose to drink? They always say the baby has enough fluid but I don't think I drink enough
Theres gotta be a easier way than washing all her bottles by hand😩 Could you put bottles in the dishwasher? Also, I use Doctor Browns bottles but I dont like how there is so many parts to wash lol...What brand of bottles do you mommies use?
OK, so how many bottles of water is it recommended that we drink ? 4-5? I don't want to carry water weight though
I don't know how many times I've seen this on here but I would really like to make it clear that it takes about 5 or more weeks of being pregnant before you actually know you're pregnant...
I don't want any judgment please! I've been going back and forth on if i should ask this or not. I strictly want to bottle feed (for my own personal/health related reasons.) and I'm wondering if anybody else only bottle fed? What did you pre-buy for your home and how did you know if your baby would even like that brand of formula? What brand bottles did you buy / how many? Again, I really respect each and every one of you for your own reasons, so please don't be mean to me! 😊🍼
but yes 10
