I had a scheduled c-section and will have another one this time also. I never had a contraction at all. I had the c-section due to a 20 cm cyst on my right ovary. My doctor delivered my daughter, then removed the cyst. It was quick and easy...all I had to do was lay there. I would say the worst part for me was I got a spinal block instead of an epidural and it is some hard pressure when you get that shot lol but I went numb in seconds, and since I had an "extra surgery" it took longer for me to see my baby. I handled the pain really well, but that really depends on your pain tolerance...and I don't know if the fact that I got a vertical incision instead of the bikini incision matters on pain or not.

same thing with me my cervix is not ready @sophmom @ciara but I'm one of the few women who don't mind a c section the doc who does c section at my hospital is really good a lot of the already moms sware by him they say he's really really fast neat and you don't feel a thing

It isn't bad at all honestly my body just wasn't ready I didn't spread so she couldn't fit through the birth canal I wouldn't stress over it honestly the more relaxed you are going into this experience the better it will be

my due date tomorrow if ny baby dosent come by sunday ima be getting induced to because my cerxix is soft but not open at all

I had both as in I went in to be induced only dilated to a 3 in 12 hours with potosin and my water broken. baby went into distress so I had a emergency c-section it as scary but it was fast. I think it took an hour for the whole surgery and time in recovery room they had her out in 15 minutes. Hated the long recovery I was 3 weeks postpartum when I felt like me again. This time I have to have a C-section on the 31st

I got induced and it was so easy went in with no signs of labor and not dilated ... got straight pitocen and after about an hr the contractions started 4hrs in I was 3 cm took a few hrs to get to 6cm got the epidural then I totally skipped to ten after that and it only took 6 mins to push my baby out ... I was in labor from 5pm to 5:55am
