Questions: What brand of breastfeeding pump do you recommend? Also do you suggest I buy one before the baby gets here or wait until after to see how the baby does with the breastmilk?

I haven't heard of tricare. but that's odd I was pretty sure insurance covered it. anyway, I know a lot of people like Medela pumps but I'm a ftm  so I have never used one.

@kjfagg yup...I have medicaid and they are going to purchase one for me. in fact I have to order it tomorrow.

do you have insurance or medicaid?  if you do call your insurance company and ask them if they cover the cost of breast pumps. I'm pretty sure they are now required to either pay for you to rent one or purchase one for you.
