I have applied for food stamps, they should be in soon thank God. And I'm going to a place today that the wic purple sent me to, so I'm hoping for good news.

What about the health department? maybe if they can point you to the right place. did you try asking wic if they could point towards where you can get a car seat & other stuff?

if you have medical reason why you can't work then you need to apply for cash assistance, food stamps & whatever else you can get until you get back on your feet.

yes I have an appointment with them, but not till the beginning on January. they are apparently really slow here even after I explained my situation.

Thank you for the prayers, I know that they will help me more than anything! I have been to flea markets and such, but right now (and I really hate too admit it, bc I feel like crying) we are at the point of counting out change for milk. so we can't afford anything.

@rykerpmommy Sweetheart she mentioned that the people that said they would help are not replying to her. Thereby making it impossible for anyone to throw her a baby shower.😞

I'm in NC. Have you been to flea markets or little consignment stores? They have stuff really cheap. I'm praying for you. God is good. He will take care of both of you :)

My hospital doesn't help, I actually called to see if the did help with car seats and the lady told me no and that if I showed up without one they would be "forced" to call dss! ugh, I have a one year old son already and everything was wonderful until I was told I couldn't work, then for my husband to lose his job...one thing after another.

Where abouts do yall live. sometime you can tell the hp and they will give you a car seat and things. also just have a friend throw a shower for you but doesn't have to be anything fancy as long.as you can get helped out
