I was induced at 39 weeks with my son. I wouldn't dilate after 4 so they gave me pitocin. made my contractions hurt 10 times more then the natural ones. I got the epidural which really helped because I got to get some sleep because I didn't sleep for 2 days. and they woke me up when time to push. I only had an iv on one arm and it wasn't as bad as people told me it was. I torn a little so I got a few stitches but I didn't feel a thing. they gave me pototin at 11:30 ish and I had him at 9:28
I was induced at 39 weeks with my daughter. I'd say the worst parts were having a needle put in each arm at once and getting stitched up.(dr didn't numb me) it took a couple hours for the pitocin to start working. At least, I didn't feel anything the first couple hours. At around 11 or 12, I started feeling contractions, and at 1:08am had my baby girl (: Contractions, honestly, weren't as bad as I expected either. Then again, she wasn't that big. It was mainly just really uncomfortable. Over all, not a bad experience. (:
