Am I asking for too much?
I'm completely disgusted by 🚬 smoke/smell. A few months back I asked my husband to stop smoking because of the pregnancy. I can't stand the smell. He said he would. Today he had the day off and stayed home with me all day. I noticed him antsy and looking for any excuse to leave the house. His excuse was the dogs don't have food so I'm going to go buy some. He didn't take long because petco is like 5-10 min away. He got home with the food and walked towards me and I could smell the smoke. I've told him before that I have a good sense of smell especially now that I'm pregnant so I asked him "you smoked?" Of course He denies it right away. I walk to the garage and start searching his car like an angry person... He goes nuts and keeps pulling me back with quiet a bit of force. I automatically know that he's hiding his 🚬. I yell at him if he's hiding something from me and he says no. It makes me even angrier to know he won't admit it. I slap him and lock him out.
I'm now sitting here on the couch crying my eyes out. Am I overreacting ? Or am I right to be mad that he's lied to me all this time saying he stopped smoking when he really has not?
I know this was long but I really had to let it out.😒

I think your letting the hormones get the best of you have him brush his teeth and wash his hands. My husband also smokes and I hate it but he knows to wash hands and brush teeth right away. He is probably nervous to tell you the truth. Quiting is hard for some people.

I would let him in and talk to him. Tell him you can smell it and you'd rather him just be honest about it. Lying makes it worse
