I have the same problem I got a second job when I was 10 weeks my pregnant friend actually got me the job. well I didn't tell them and now I'm 17 weeks. I'm scared and I don't know why. my other job I work at a gas station and I told them right away I didn't care but my second job I work as q tutor for young kids. I guess since I'm not married I'm don't want the kiddos to know. I even wear a fake ring to work just so if the kiddos do find out I can say I'm married. I love the kids I work with and I just want then to have the idea of there teacher doing the right thing. thing is I tutor for 3 hours and were really busy. when times up my manager is usually gone. so I wasn't sure when to tell her either. @kennedymom, if you get benefits just start with that asking when they start, and ask them for information about a medical leave of absence policy, when I started my job at the hospital we were still trying to get pregnant, and as a part of their complete physical and health screen they gave you a pregnancy test, by the time I got pregnant, my benefits had already kicked in, and after my first bed jail sentence I was able to go back and work 1 day which would kick in my STD and LTD, I ended up making it to nov 13, but I'm very high risk with a history of preterm delivery and labor at 29wks, but if they ask just reassure them that you are fine and are willing to work until you go in labor, now as far as coming off of leave you may only get 6wks off and not more cause u just started, but I would start by asking benefit questions

@kennedymom, well I mean all you can do is be honest, unless you have complications you should be good to work up until your due date, so I mean I would just tell them cause the scrubs gonna show it all, mine did especially the shirts with the scrunchie in the back

Where do you work?@kennedymom it depends on the company because if it's an at will company they can let you go at anytime and there's nothing you can do about it, especially if you signed the at will release

I would just,be blunt and tell your manager look I need to talk to you. I am pregnant and I just wanted to let u know. You already work there so what can she do lol
