I didn't get diagnosed during pregnancy but I'm type 1 diabetic. So more or less the same precautions are taken. If you have read up on the topic then you probably already have saw you will need to control your numbers through diet and excercise and sometimes medication. If you have any specific questions I can try to help out through my expierences if you'd like. :)

If u go into your settings you can change the feed capacity to all that might help your news feed @kimmy1990

theyve givin me the option, I just chose not to mostly cuz I couldnt go that long without eating.. and yaa thats kinda my thoughts too.. and hmm weird.. I only see u three lol

Really eh they've never given u the option? ..... Hmmm. I'm thinking it might explain the 40 lbs I've gained. I see everyone on my newsfeed but I think only the 3 of you see me statuses. @kimmy1990 @nrdubrayxx @michelley

I only see the 3 of u on my newsfeed.... ive never had GB but never done the tests for it either.. diabetes run in my family but ive always beeen givin the option to do the test or not and normally ive felt good. I might do it this pregnancy due to gaining so much and always been soo hungry and tired.

Popularity contest? Haha. I hope thats not what you think I want. It's all pregnancy related... Like I said already, I think our geographical location is what determines who sees our statuses. That was my concern - not being "cool" on this app lol

@regelbaby, it's not a popularity contest though. And some of the topics getting lots of responses are things we are all going through like weight gain, like I said it all depends on what we have or are going through. I know my mom had GD. She couldn't tell me lots about it though. I hope things get better

I read lots online right away. I was hoping to get some first hand advice though... I guess no one has had it lucky for them. I seriously think tho still that my settings are wonky bc on my newsfeed girls are getting lots of responses and I'm over here begging for them :( @michelley

@regelbaby, yes this app is for support however perhaps none of the moms on here have been diagnosed with GD. Read up about it online or ask your own mom :) whenever I need advice I do read a lot online. Not always the best but you can find helpful stuff. Best of luck
