you can but its recommended to wait till baby is born because the baby takes all your vitamins, so vision will change

they just dont dilate your eyes

i was told when your pregnant your eye sight is different then when you aren't

@steph11, the one sad thing is I only have a midwife and it's NEVER the same person. but I'm just going to get them check anyways bc they aren't the one having to deal with with the visit headaches all the time and then get them.checked again after the baby!:)

some Dr's might not want to because you're eye sight can change while pregnant. so after the baby comes I'd just get check again.

Yeah I know how it feels and I was always told that you can't and I just called the office and asked and let them know I was and they said it was fine but that after I have my baby I have to go back to checked again to see if my vision checked so they can change my prescription if needed.

you can get them checked

As long as you tell them so they don't dilate your eyes your good I for my eyes checked at around 15 weeks cause I broke my glasses but the reason they say it's bad is because you vision does change while pregnant.

@rykerpmommy aaahhhh military docs. that explains a lot. yeahhh, no. getting your eyes checked is fine. they can get worse during pregnancy, though, but often get better again in the months after birth.

@wrens_mommy, ha this guy said your eyes get worse when your pregnant. I said I'm not going threw an x ray to get them check but I will find out bc I have been getting bad headaches due to trying to see lol

@alhynele, these military docs are quake. I'm bout to just go to Walmart, I have glasses but my eyes have gotten worse and I need a new prescription. but they told me not until after the baby! Grr these Ppl make me mad!!!

I've had my eyes checked at my yearly appointment to make sure my prescription is correct. why on earth wouldn't you be able to get your eyes checked because you're pregnant?

That's not true. I just got mine checked for a new prescription for glasses two weeks ago.
