So I was in a 9-month relationship with a very selfish and controlling guy and now I'm pregnant by him. All we did was argue and fuss all day and I didn't think it was healthy for my growing baby. On top of that, we had no place to live and barely ate. He was too lazy to get a real job so we lived off of him doing shitty tattoos. I tried to explain the seriousness of the situation but he was so self-centered, he didn't care. I finally had enough and I was talking to a male friend of mine who's in the military and he offered to give me a place to stay and help me raise my child. So I packed up my things and left my baby's father. Do you think it was wrong for me to leave him?

uh no if he didn't care about you what on earth would make you believe he would care about the baby? i would have done the same thing if I was in that situation. what base is he at?

No it was not. That's not a good environment for you or the baby. Good for you girl. Keep your head up and maybe one day he will come around.

You have to do what's best for you & your child so if that meant leaving the baby's father then yes it was the right thing. I wish you guys the beat

Girl you made the right decision! Good on you! It's hard to walk away from bad situations sometimes! You should be proud of the choice you made! Your baby will thank you! I only suggest thinking about the involvement the "sperm donor" will have in your baby's life. Better to work it out now
