My doctor said they don't do ultrasounds at all before 20 weeks unless there is something wrong. I'm in school to be an ultrasound tech and normally people get them sometime shortly after 8 weeks. I can't wait that long to see my little jelly bean! So I guess I will be going to a local clinic that does confirmation ultrasounds.

10 weeks isn't so bad waiting until you are 20 weeks is a little extreme I would rather wait till January 6th then wait till I'm 20 weeks. that way you will definitely know how far along you really & your for sure due date
@january10th the only other place won't accept me until mid January so I just scheduled an ultrasound for January 6th and I'll be one day shy of 10 weeks I think
I had my 10 week appointment yesterday and my doc said no ultrasound until i'm 4 or 5 months!!! :(
maybe try find a different doctor? I would definitely Find another doctor if they told me this
@january10th right! I just don't get it! So I'll just schedule a confirmation ultrasound at the clinic around 10 weeks, do a 3D one sometime after 14 weeks to find out the gender and then just go to my doctor for the 20 week one
@hannahjem23, I wonder why they wouldn't do one before 20 weeks what if you are farther along!? that's usually when they confirm your due date
And they won't do it before 8 weeks at all and they close for a few for Christmas at the clinic so I have to wait until I'm at least 10 weeks and that's so far away! Lol maybe when I get my blood work back and it will be really high and they will order an ultrasound! Hahaha I just seriously can't wait!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
