anybody has/had nipple piercings and tried to breastfeed/pump?I know it can't be safe to breastfeed.but what about pumping?
Oh ok well I do no mine have been out for probably a year and a half and I get milk out the holes and they closed up quote a bit like I can't get a ring through them
Yeah neither would be safe. You risk giving your baby an infection. How many weeks are u? You'll probably have plenty of time to remove them and allow for them to close a little.
@alhynele, I'm willing to let them go..just wanted to be sure i had to..i knew breastfeeding wouldn't be safe I didn't know about pumping..
Umm if u keep the piercings in it will be unhygienic whether u feed her from the nipple or pump. Seriously consider formula if you're not willing to let go of your piercings
No problem hope you figure something out, why the ? though lol
I would say so cause breast feeding, I wouldn't want that in my kids mouth and pumping, from how hard the suction is I wouldn't want it to pull that hard, that's my thought though, I had them out before I got pennant cause my husband didn't like it but to be safe I would, or ask the Dr or lactation consultant
I had my nipples pierced twice, and I'm beat feeding, you will just get some milk out of the holes and the lactation consultant told me you have to remember there is scar tissue too. But I've had them pierced. I hope this isn't why I'm having these problems but my daughter is getting enough to eat.
pumping is a tough job -____- hope linn g do you mommies pump for? ??
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
Government Assistance and Breast Pump
Is there any mommy's on here that used to be or is on Government Assistance? And knows if they cover breast pumps?

My stash!! I'm super pumped
Breast pump covered by insurance
I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
@alhynele, 13weeks
