My son is part of the IEP program where he receives extra help. (He has adhd) I feel torn that everyone agrees that he has to be taken out of the regular classroom of 30 kids and put into a special Ed class. My son really wants to stay in his classroom and even though I was told that I could fight against it and have rights as a parent, I don’t feel that is the case. Almost every year since my son was in kindergarten, he keeps getting taken out of his classes and switched to another class. I feel like it is affecting him where he feels that he isn’t wanted like he feels somewhat abandoned in school. In kindergarten half way throughout the school year, he was taken out of his regular class and put into a special Ed class. Then he was taken out of the special Ed class and put back into a regular class for 1st grade. In 2nd grade the teachers wanted to put him in a special Ed class again and thank god the pandemic happened where he was able to finish his class without switching. 3rd grade he did remote for the whole time and stayed with his class but now 4th grade comes along and they want him to switch to special Ed class again. I get what they are saying that he may be able to concentrate more with a smaller group setting but I have a feeling if they switch his class that 5th grade he will probably have to switch again and 6th grade. I feel bad for him because he wants to stay the whole time with his classmates and teacher. My son is shy and it takes him a little while to adjust to everything. It just sucks that once he is used to being around everyone then he has to switch. 😩 I don’t know what to do.
what are my options besides anything that goes in my back snd could paralyze me
Started parenting classes yesterday. 1 step closer to getting my baby boy back from a temporary foster home. He is just over 8 weeks. I’m longing to parent. Lawyer said it could be 6 months to a year that I get him back. I’m praying for sooner. I bought his birth certificate yesterday too.

It's actually a class c drug & loratab (norco) is safer to take while pregnant. I've been on norco throughout my pregnancy due to my back pain and I've done so much research on it, & talked to countless drs. These drugs don't get to the baby the way people think it does, both of these drugs are Tylenol on steroids pretty much.. My doctor told me that babies will not withdraw from medications like this because it doesn't get to the baby in that kind of way. The way we become dependent on it is through our brains. So as long as you're not over doing it, baby will be fine. I'm 37 weeks and I've actually switched from norco to tramadol because it's not as addictive.. & it's not as strong! The reason why drs don't like patients taking this medication this late in pregnancy is because our bodies build up resistance to it so when we have our babies the pain killers won't do the job they're supposed to do, and they prescribe oxycodone to you for pain relief if you have a c section and norco to you if you give birth vaginally.. That's because oxycodone is a lot stronger than norco. If I were you, I would taper just in case. That's what I did and switched to something not as strong.. The withdraws suck but it'll be better for you & baby in the end and save you a great deal of pain.

thank you so much. I worry myself so much even after doing research and talking to Dr. I always think I'm just a horrible person and something will be wrong with my baby, And looks I did before I try to only take it ibn the evening close to bed time or if I take it during the day I'll try not to take one at night. and the worst part is there not prescribed to me because I'm too scared to ask of talkanymore about it with my Dr so I get some from a family member. .

I understand, I asked them to stop prescribing it to me when I found out I was pregnant (I was already 6mos along when I found out) so ever since then ive taken my old ones because I never took them as much as I was prescribed. Just relax, everything will be fine.. Don't worry so much. You're not hurting the baby. We have to be OK in order for our babies to be OK. You don't have to bring anything up to your dr that you don't feel comfortable with. I've talked to my DR but that's because I was already 6 months pregnant when I found out so Baby & I had to undergo more tests then a normal pregnant woman would, because I was on a cocktail of meds , anti depressants, pain killers, muscle relaxers, benzos.. & the only thing I was told was OK was the norco.. So that's the only thing I continued to really take..

@kateferrera, do you think it would be better to take half of lortab on occasion for back rather than the oxy?
