Happy Thanksgiving ladies! Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday.. Can't wait for Christmas! So happy to wake up to some snow today.. Update: it has been 3 weeks since my first round of methotrexate.. My HCG levels started to rise so I had to have a second round of methotrexate.. Had some severe pain and bleeding for two weeks.. But now as of today my HCG levels have gone down to 16.. So glad I didn't have to have surgery, and my tube was still good! Going through an ectopic has been the scariest, but the worst part is done & over with.. Now we wait 3 months to try again!

Thank you @sexii_diiva !! And.. @kaylhunt2 - yes methotrexate is a chemotherapy medication. I am a pharmacy technician and am very well aware of the effects of this medication, but using it in terms for an ectopic it kills the cells (embryo) in my tube. Luckily I only had 2 rounds and had no severe side effects.. And I am also very lucky that it worked and didn't have to have surgery and saved my tube! 😊😊 yes it is a scary drug! 😬
i saw methotrextate and freaked out for a second. they use that with cancer patients. i used to help care for a little girl with terminal cancer and she was on that.
