Does anyone else have moments of being completely overwhelmed..? Me and my bf are SO excited, but when we get to talking about all the preparations (including purchasing our first house) in the next 5 months, I just feel panicked.. We haven't started buying things for the baby since we're waiting to find out the gender, and 5 months is starting to feel like 5 minutes 😰

We have the essentials to (some) like the diaper genie, diapers, wipes, breast pump, bottles etc
@tgeezy, the hardest part is deciding what u want. I'll be honest my husband and I have spent almost every single night for like 2 months adding items to our list and taking them off etc. it's hard and at first it's fun then it just becomes draining. Following the suggested stuff from baby registry sites helps. We used Amazon and buy buy baby and they have a guideline. That helped a lot. You just have to know what your NEEDS are. Essentials. Once u have that down then it gets easier. And if u are like us you will probably waste a lot of time comparing reviews and watching videos on YouTube to see the products lol. I honestly can't wait till we have all her stuff. I think knowing how much clothing she needs is the hardest. Like how long will she be newborn size etc, even with diapers lol. P
@alhynele, damnit lol I was really hoping the closer you get the more prepared you feel! I'm sure it will help to knock out some of the big stuff but there's just so much!! Did you use some sort of checklist or anything?
We feel the same way. We are almost done with her room and have a lot of things. We also waited till the third trimester and well we still just have moments where we are like "omg this is really happening, are we really ready?" I don't think the panic goes away lol
If you start getting the basics you will feel better but at 8 months with lots of things I am still panicking
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
We finally did it after 10 months!!!!
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
When did you mommy's start letting your baby's taste food? Taste is the keyword not eat. I have a west Indian background and we usually start to let our babies taste different foods early after 4 the month mark and then we allow them to start eating foods around month 5.
I completely feel like I'm drowning I'm 30 weeks and I have nothing done in my sons room mainly cause my finacee works long hours and barely has days off and I can't lift the heavy items out. And my SIL told me to stop buying stuff and wait for the baby shower cause I'll get everything I need so I probably won't feel better 3 weeks before I have my son lol.
