Did anyone else not have to fast for their glucose test? I'm having mine done today and they said I didn't have to fast…

@jamie_renea03, I'm sorry. I hope I don't fail, but I had to eat with my medicine and I couldn't wait until after 3 to take it. But my mom has gestational diabetes with my sister so at least if I do have it she can help watch what I eat and everything.

I had to fast with both of my pregnancies and I failed the 1 hour and 3 hour test this time...

well before I haven't took it yet with this pregnancy

I didn't have to fast. I was to told to eat a light meal

@mdomke22, that's a relief. I really hope I pass, I don't want to do the 3 hour one.

I drank a cool aid jammer before I took it lol. & the 2 times before with my other 2 I had a full breakfast. I passed all of them. lol

@mrsjackett, I had to have a few waffles cause it's the only breakfast thing I have that soft enough for me to eat since I got a tooth pulled yesterday, and I had medicine I had to take that had to be eaten with.

@ekks.mamma, I think for the 3 hr one you have to fast. @lizzilarson yea you'll be fine I had a breakfast hot pocket like 45 min before I drank it and passed with flying colors

god I would have loved to been able to eat I felt like I was going to die lol

@ekks.mamma, that's what my other doctors office said when I was supposed to take it there, but we moved and this one says not to. Lol.

@mdomke22, they said a normal diet for me, but I'm still trying to not eat anything with too much sugar, cause I had medicine I had to take that couldn't wait until later but I had to eat with it.

@allyandbaby @january10th Thanks, I thought it was so weird cause the I was supposed to take it someone else before and they told me to fast, but we moved here and they're telling me not to.

i didnt i had a sausage biscuit and chocolate milk about 2 hours before my test

dang I had my 3 hour glucose test and they told me to eat absolutely nothing I was starving by the time it was fine but I passed it 😀

Yea you don't have to as long as you don't eat/drink anything with sugar in it you should be good :)

Me. I had mine yesterday.
