How long after a c-section can you take a bath?

with mine it was the next day but you can't take a bath you have to take a shower and you can't apply soap directly to your incision they tell you to just let the soap from your hair and body wash to just run over it. but it's the best feeling ever!

Well yeah lol I've taken showers but I meant like a bubble bath...I want one so bad I'll be 2 weeks post partum sunday but idk how long I have to wait to take a bubble bath

Yea not sure about a bubble bath you should ask your dr.

You have to be really careful. I had a c-section with my twin boys. i would wait at least until my stitches have dissolved. i know of someone whos stitches opened bck up and she caught an infection so be really careful and taje your time on things.

i took it next day while being careful (my mom helped me) but no, no bubble bath.

My doctor told me how long to wait but I done forgot....but I go back in a couple weeks to have it checked and all so I'll ask her then when I see her...I just miss bubble baths lol @efrat

I would atleast wait until your 6 weeks appointment, to make sure so nothing goes wrong
