Remember us as women it's what our bodies are made to do.. I'm going natural because I want to have the experience, even though I know it will hurt like hell. now I don't bash women who get the epi at all, but I say give it a try.. nd if you can't deal then by all means get the epi lol. everyone has a different experience

it is very possible to do it maybe just find some things that relax u ... I gotta say I panicked during labor cuz it was so painful I didn't know wht to do but that breathing thing works ..

yeah I was breathing short, fast breaths & they (my dr & nurse) were telling me to slow down & just breath that did help me calm down a bit but yeah im the worst with pain lol @babygirl10-11

yeah if your bad with pain (like me) dont do it naturally its horrible. it made me all shaky and light headead afterwords. my sister was glad she had gotten the epidural after seeing me do it natural. @kaymariah

i think labor hurt worse ...it only took 1 push get baby girl out

well I had no choice when I got to the hospital at 1240am I was already 8cm when they got me into the delivery room 10 mins later my baby was crowing the epidural man had just got there but she was already coming out everything happend so fast it was like a scene out the movie ... water broke at home home at 1220 am baby born 125am

what got me through it though was knowing I was gonna get my Crush orange soda that I hadnt had in 9 months lol

both was unbearable for me. I didnt want anyone to talk to me or touch me for the contractions. I couldn't even get up to pee. they had to.empty me out via tube during the pushing and the pushing was just horrible it burned and every time i.got a contraction they wanted me to push through the pain and i.wanted to.give up it hurt so bad.

yeah but hey some women dont mind going through the pain. i honestly wanted the epidural because my sister went frm being in tears to eating popsicles and talking to everyone she was eay better & didnt feel a thing. @kaymariah

lol yeah i went from 3 to 10 cm in 2 hours but they let me try the epidural to see if I got lucky @babygirl10-11

@waitingonnoah20, yes it does i thought I was gonna die lol I wanted the epidural so bad but when I got to the hospital I was 8 1/2 cm by the time 10 mins after I got into the delivery room I was fully dilated and my baby was crowing so they wouldn't give me NOTHING ... I definitely cussed out a few nurses lol thank goodness it happened so fast

yes. i kept telling the doctors i.couldnt do it but they were very patient with me lol the epidural was nothing, and i dont have any back pain from getting it. it was just a waste because it didnt work on me.

Yea I know. my sister had the drug thru her IV with her first baby she said it worked til her water broke and the contractions were more intense and shorter the drug wasn't doing shit after that Lol @babygirl10-11

there other opinions besides the epidural to.. they don't work ass well but they help a little

and ive had 2 epidural for my last kids it worked GREAT and I have no problems what so ever

im not a first time mom but I just had my baby natural ... I have to say it was the worst pain of my life and I didnt think i could do it but I did ... not by choice tho and that hole breathing thang they tell you to do total works so if u plan on a natural labor practice that breathing lol

@octbaby1031, that's why I don't want it. I don't want the consequence that comes with getting an epidural and if I can handle one day of labor I wanna do it natural. epidural causes problems for the rest of your life.

If i can go back in time && not get the epidural i wouldnt. it messed up my back && it didnt even work :( ... but everyones body is different.
