any mommy's cloth diaper? what brands do you use, what would you recommend, and what's good for a budget of $400 for a baby girl? Ftm also, I prefer snap over velcro, and one size diapers. I've heard about sun baby, but that's the only one.

You are shopping on amazon you mean? I've never bought cloth diapers off of amazon. My favorite site is www.jilliansdrawers.com but there are so many sites & most offer bulk pricing so say you but 12+ you get them for like $2.00 off as opposed to the price of buying like 2 at a time. I've always bought mine as the package, diaper with is insert.
see, my brother is offering to pay, and I've looked at those, and they are 16$ for just one cover without the insert, and a friend recommended at least 28 covers and 50 inserts so that I can have some with her dad, in the 2 cars, and at my home. (her dad doesn't live with me) am I missing something on the price? is it cheaper off of amazon?
Bumgenius one size are my go to. I've tried & used many but they are by far my fav for ease of use and for others who may need to help in the area of changing diapers. You can set up a diaper registry on a lot of the sites and I also discovered quite a few sites offer layaway programs.
