mommies! important question! so my girls are 1 week old today. my question is: they slept most of the day yesterday and nearly all night last night, is that normal or do I need to bed worried? could it be my medicine the doctor gave me for pain where I had a c section making them so sleepy? I'm just concerned they are sleeping to much and idk if I should worry or not. Please help me if you can!

My first daughter would sleep thru most of the night i had to set my alarm to wake up and feed her!

My daughter was like tht at first when they get a little older that'll change. I don't think you have anything to worry about. If your real concerned give their doctor a call, but I would say it's normal cuz my daughter was the same until she was about almost three weeks.

The pain meds don't affect the babies the way people think it does. They could just be sleepy babies :) Newborns sleep A LOT! No need to worry :)

I think it's just because they are newborns :) they sleep ALOT at first. if anything I look at it like they are most likely going through a growth spurt :)
